Climate Finance Built for Scrutiny

YOM transforms methane elimination at source into investments designed to withstand regulatory scrutiny

    About YOM

YOM is incorporated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and operates under the oversight of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), serving as the central asset holding and operational platform for carbon-credit origination, reporting and programme execution

The YOM Framework is the institutional blueprint for large-scale methane abatement and industrial decarbonisation, governing the full lifecycle of climate-asset creation, from independent verification and tokenisation to regulated distribution. Purpose-built for global institutions, it delivers a transparent, compliant and investment-grade infrastructure for carbon-credit origination

    What We Provide

    • Transparent, compliant infrastructure for carbon-credit origination
    • Investment-grade climate assets for global institutions
    • Independent verification from wellhead to registry
    • Regulated distribution under ADGM oversight

    Core Climate Asset Classes

    International Carbon Credits (ICCs)

ICCs are carbon credits issued by the International Carbon Registry (ICR), each representing one independently verified tonne of CO2e emission reduction. ICCs are aligned with ISO 14064-2 standards and are structured for transfer within regulated digital-asset and securities frameworks.

    ICR Tokens (ERC-1155)

ICR Tokens are blockchain-based digital representations of ICCs registered on the ICR. Verification and registry data are published on-chain via Chainlink oracles, providing institutions with immutable, verifiable records that support auditability, due diligence and regulatory reporting.

    Structured Emission Reduction Instruments (SERIs)

SERIs are regulated, insured, finance-grade ERC-1155 instruments that pool ICR-registered tokens with A-rated (or higher) parametric insurance and embedded financial features. They are designed to create institutional grade investments aligned with compliance requirements across major regulatory jurisdictions.

    SERI Transformation

The YOM Framework converts Scope 1 methane abatement, verified at the well-head, into finance-grade instruments through seven core modules

    Scientific measurement
    Engineering intervention
    Independent third-party verification
    Digital monitoring and data validation
    Parametric insurance protection
    Financial structuring and risk enhancement
    Tokenised registry and regulated distribution

    Why YOM Exists

YOM bridges real-economy decarbonisation by transforming climate performance into measurable, investable and regulatory-compliant investments.

We engineer physical emission elimination at source, independently verify each tonne, insure the economic value and list the resulting assets on regulated exchanges.

    What We Deliver

    • Verified Scope 1 reductions from physical methane elimination
    • IFRS/IAS-compliant investment for balance-sheet integration or portfolio inclusion
    • Parametric insurance safeguarding economic value
    • Complete, auditable chain of custody from wellhead to registry

    Investment Philosophy

YOM's investment philosophy is built on conservative assumptions with a transparent, fully documented methodology. Every reduction is independently verified and the approach avoids exposure to speculative voluntary carbon-market volatility

    Value Drivers

    • Compliance cost avoidance as carbon pricing tightens
    • Balance-sheet treatment under IFRS/IAS frameworks
    • Regulatory-capital efficiency through documented methodology
    • Long-term risk mitigation via parametric insurance

    Regulatory Trajectory

EU ETS prices have increased fivefold since 2020. CBAM implementation continues to expand globally. Compliance costs are rising across jurisdictions

    Verification Premium

BeZero AAA-rated credits trade at premium over unrated alternatives

    Risk Mitigation

Parametric insurance safeguards the economic value. No counterparty exposure to voluntary market volatility

    Balance-Sheet Fit

IFRS/IAS-aligned structuring enables regulatory capital treatment, beyond traditional offset accounting

Conservative Approach: YOM's return philosophy is built on conservative assumptions, focusing on documented emission reductions and regulatory alignment

    Governance & Regulatory Anchoring

An ADGM-regulated platform under FSRA oversight, with processes and documentation designed to ensure compliance with EU ETS, CSRD, SEC and CBAM requirements

    About YOM - FAQ

Common questions about our organization and approach

YOM is an ADGM-regulated climate finance firm focused on transforming verified, physical emission reductions into auditable, asset-grade investments. YOM delivers methane elimination at source through the permanent remediation of abandoned oil and gas wells, with each tonne of CO₂e independently verified and structured into investments for institutional market participation.
ERAs represent physical emission elimination from permanently plugged and remediated wells, with each tonne of CO₂e directly measured, independently verified under ISO 14064-2, and registered on the ICR. Unlike traditional offsets, they do not rely on baselines, projections or assumptions, avoiding verification uncertainty and audit risk.
YOM partners with global institutional sustainability leaders at emission-intensive corporations and government entities, providing solutions designed for auditable, regulatory compliant climate investments.
Verification is structured across four tiers: (1) Carbon Check conducts a technical audit of the methodology and measurements (2) an A-rated (or higher) insurer validates parametric coverage (3) H&T Digital ensures all documentation is accurate, complete, compliant and produces audit-ready reporting (4) Chainlink publishes the data on-chain, creating an immutable attestation of the verification process.
